What is Sugaring? This ancient form of hair removal is made using only 3 ingredients Sugar, lemon juice and water...Using a room temperature ball of sugar paste applied to the skin, hair is removed in the same direction of growth so clients achieve smooth, exfoliated skin, reducing breakage, in-grown hairs, and will never burn the skin. Keep reading to learn more about this ancient hair removal technique that is still popular in Europe and Asia, and has quickly grown popularity back in the States for many reason.

Sugar Paste is applied at room temperature making it safe for all areas. It is even safe for varicose & spider veins Sugar paste will not increase blood supply and will never burn your skin. Sugar paste is barely lukewarm
Breaking Fewer Hairs
Sugar paste wraps around the hair shaft making it pliable, while seeping below the mouth of the follicle and lubricating the hair to make the extraction more complete. The hair is eased out of the follicle only in the natural direction of growth, which helps to extract the hair intact.
More Sanitary
Sugaring paste is hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic. Sugar helps control cross contamination. Since our paste has such a high concentration of sugar, bacteria cannot breed inside a sugar jar but bacteria will breed inside a wax jar.
Fun fact: Sugar was used to heal wounds during the Civil War as it helps to prevent infections while promoting healing.
Improves Appearance of Skin
Sugaring reduces post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (darker areas) approving the overall look of your skin. This is due to several factors- trauma to the skin is eliminated because sugar paste is not hot, removed in the direction of growth which eliminates in-growns. Which can wreak havoc for days, causing trauma to the area, leaving behind a nasty dark spot.
Leads to Permanency
After a number of treatments the hair follicle begins to deplete. The hair grows in more refined each time. Because sugar can extract the shortest hair, it is possible to extract hair in the early anagen phase, which can lead to permanency. Clients will see superior results after just a few treatments.

Sugar requires less then 1/16 inch or 4-7 days growth, after shaving.
